Charlie likes to keep a couple of irons in the fire. After studying Comparative Literature at UGA, he joined the music collective Party Party Partners, producing music, curating events with international performers, as well as touring the US and Canada. He has also worked with Cloud Recordings.
During multiple stays in Guadalajara, Mexico between 2015-2017, Charlie helped to develop a small-scale coffee roaster while learning about Mexican culture.
A practicing cook since 2007, from classic diners like The Grill to fine dining at The National in Athens, GA, where his interest in the connections between food and culture flourished.
Charlie also practices mixed-media visual art, re-contextualizing Material Culture to produce surrealist reflections of the modern internal experience. He has shown at the Lyndon House Arts Center and Hotel Indigo in Athens, GA and the Mammal Gallery and 368 Ponce in Atlanta, GA.
